Pulkrabek launches 2026 with ASCS National Tour at Volusia
Like many of the nation's finest, East Grand Forks, Minnesota's Gage Pulkrabek launched his 2026 campaign in the Sunshine State, joining the ASCS National Tour for three nights of competition at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida, on January 29, 30, and February 2. The 360ci sprint car card featured a stout contingent, but Pulkrabek held his own, eventually concluding action with an A-Main start on Monday, February 2. In fact, "The Bandit" was forced to do things the hard way, battling his way through the evening's Last Chance Showdown before lining up 24th for the $12,000-to-win headliner.
Despite the ASCS National Tour segment of the annual DIRTcar Nationals officially complete, Pulkrabek's visit to the Sunshine State is far from over, set to join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for a four-night stretch beginning Wednesday, February 4.
